I hesitated a second to show my firewall in progress because it's a blend of a few ideas and it's coming out sweet and I figure some will copy it. You have been a great help in the pics you have posted and seeing the finished look you have has been a great help to me and Im sure everyone who has looked at them.I always ask if I can use the ideas from the builders on this site before I try them.I think this is the best site Ive seen as far as builds and have seen some of the best builders that are out there.Thanks again for posting your progress and cant wait to see this one finished.

Okay, more progress.
First pics are the inner door latch. We fabbed in the body line. We also finished off the inner door frame, this way we can get a door panel in the center.

Thanks guys...The glass is 4". Go to Doug Thorley before they sell out. ALL BILLET MIRRORS ARE HALF PRICE OR LESS!!

Thanks, after chopping so much out of the inner door panel, we had to replace enough metal to install door panels.

Need wiring kit. Something super simple. Someone suggested painless.

I need to paint the frame. Should I do the wiring and brake lines first, or after? I'm not worried about removing the lines or wire prior to paint. Just wondering if this is 2x the work. Also, will I mess up my paint by installing this stuff later?

I used a kit on my 52 called EZ Wiring. It was color coded and labled. Very easy to use. They have excellent wiring instructions a a tech line that helped me every time. I bought another one the other day for my Blazer. Now I will use the Street & Performance stand alone engine wiring harness for my LS2

Mock it all up first then remove it before paint

Duh. Dont I feel like the idiot. I just woke up so I guess it's okay. A new track opened by my house and I rode all day two days in a row, pretty dang sore waking up. Need to do more lunges.
