Re: HeavyMetalChevy

I think he thinks no one is going to press charges against him. He knows he owes money or parts to members, he knows he didn't pay any of the shipping on the doors he bought from me. Evidently he don't care if guys are wanting their parts or money back

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

I don't think he will with me, he hasn't paid a dime on the shipping of doors. And also never tried to fix the problem, just blew it off. He can say what he wants about being a stand up guy but he knows he hasn't paid anything. I'm glad he is coming through for some of you though BUT you don't keep members money as long as he has, that is just not right

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

I am not disagreeing with any of you that he has stolen from members or the fact that he has kept money without sending parts which is a total bunch of bs. I know he kept my money for months and everyone has their personal problems but personal problems is no excuse to mess with business.

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

i've dealt with Dewayne in the past, and never had a problem. I believe he may have become overwhelmed with everything going on in his personal life and everything here snowballing all at once, and ran off and hid for a moment until he got stuff sorted out.

I honestly believe he'll do as he says he'll do, eventually.

I would hope so. The issue is, some folks are out hundreds of dollars.

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

maybe some folks do still want their parts?? But if its all the same, I had just as soon have my $$ back as well, I've written off getting the grill from HMC and bought another from a board member and dont need 2 if Duane does have intentions of sending it. $125 refund would be simpler for the both of us.

All I can say is WOW.... I read this all the way through, makes me feel, terrible. Randy I hope this gets worked out for you, and everyone else.
I hope this does not affect the way "most" members here trust each other.
This is a great community and i would hate to see it "hurt" by someone's actions. Coop

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

I haven't heard or received anything and in all honesty I don't think I ever will. I will just cut my losses and move on since I'm not out much but it's all the principle of the matter. Hope everyone else is able to resolve their situation or come to terms with this whole ordeal.

Re: HeavyMetalChevy

The shipper sold it to collections, so the shipper won't talk to me about it. I told collections they were only to talk to me not to my employer, then once I got Attorney General involved the collections won't talk to me only to Attorney General. Now the Attorney General gal has not got back with me, I left her a message 2 weeks ago. I guess I will try her this week again. The Attorney General has had it since Sept 14th. Duane still has NEVER paid anything for shipping doors, HE KNOWS THIS!!! That is a THIEF!!! He can act and talk like he is straight up but he isn't. He never tried to fix this, that is why it has gone this far
