Paint came out nice. Should look fantastic with all the trim back on.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

so after looking at your photo's great work , so with that why didn't put a gas door on the passager side of the bed ? I see you did a bed side on the driver side.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Long story kinda... It was a lessor of evils thing. But basically, some time next year I'm going to do a suburban tank. I just simply didn't have time this year. So when I do that, I'll have to re paint the white stripe on the bed anyway. So I figured I would just save the time now and know that I'll just have to repaint it anyway.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

It's definitely red. My phone and the light might be throwing the color off a bit. But it does have a bit of that copper burnt orange in it. It's like a red metallic with burgundy and copper thrown in. But I have a copy of the formula they used.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Looks good in the rain. I just picked up a '77 CC C-20 this weekend. It not the greatest, but for the price, it will work for now.

Just need to come up with a plan for it...

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Nice work on the paint.
Looks like you have some good neighbors, I see a Suburban across the street and a Dodge 4x4 next door.
The fall colors in your pictures are pretty too.
Will you keep the saddle tanks when you add the rear Blazer tank?
I seem to remember a cross bed filler so you could fill both sides with the filler on one side. Don't remember if it was left or right.
All your planned 4x4 parts will fit should you decided to keep the saddle tanks.
My 1976 3/4 ton has factory dual exhausts that clear a 203 t-case.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Thanks ! I plan on ditching the saddle tanks when I do the burb tank. I have done a 4x4 swap before so I have a good idea of what will and won't be a problem.
