Uh-oh........ Mine won't be laid-out.

My old 74 had 6/8 drop (3" spindles & cut coils) w/stock inner wells & bumpstops in place. Without the bump-stops (or w/shorter units), a 28" tall tire would constantly buzz the top of the inner well.

The dually will be a similar set-up but not exact. It will utilize 3" spindles, a notched x-member, cut coils, & OE bump-stops w/a 28.75" tall front tire. So the additional travel offered w/the notched x-member & the taller front tire combo will require more room so it doesn't buzz. The SloshTubz should do just that!

I would love to get a pair of these! Have you looked at the hood spring hinge clearance? I own an 81 chevy so I have the hood w/o cowl, sorry if this has been asked already, please tell me there's a solution or no issue with shutting the hood at all!

Ok seen the mod that Low1Ton did; I think I can manage that...one more question that was asked earlier about the VintageAir systems going into the pass. side of the firewall, were you able to make the final product clear these hoses? I am installing a VintageAir next month...

Sorry I missed the first post but you found what I was going to tell you ! I am using vintage air on my blazer it just depends on where you bring your hoses out of the firewall ?

Your Blazer kicks ass! I didn't see your hoses anywhere near the firewall. I'm using the plate that came with the kit. Name: image.jpg

Damn. So without relocating there they wouldn't do me much good? That blows harder than a hurricane.

I posted a pic in one of my previous replies but here is the direct link, it's in the center of that body filler...not the best pic but you can get a rough idea of the location.

Ok, you would clear just have to bring the hose to the side of the tubz (get a hose with a 90 degree bend on it) you should be fine
