What is that (I assume is) rear bumper hanging on your wall? Man that would look cool flipped upside down and used as a grill with head lights mounted in the wells.....

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
I've been doin some brake work lately and I started to put the front lines on and they stick out from the crossmember quite a bit . It's the correct year kit from brothers I ordered with the disc kit. It just seems like I've seen a lot of people attaching the lines to the crossmember. Is mine set up wrong? Also these clips I got do I just use a.self tapping screw to connect all my lines to the frame?

Re: 66 c10 first timer build
Hey, I like your truck and have enjoyed your posts. The Gilmer belts and pulleys on the front of the engine, now that is cool. Great idea. Just a thought on that new rad support. Take some measurements and compare it to the original. I had a repo rad support from two different manufacturers, and they were both short from end to end by more than 1/4 inch. Also a lot of the holes where the square weldnuts are, aren't in the right place. I had to fix an original that had areas rusted out. The rad support is the most important piece. The inner fenders, outer fenders, and header panel all bolt to it, so it has to be right, or a ton of problems start. I hope yours is right. If I can save anyone a headache that some of these parts give, I will do it. Don't throw any of your old panels away, you can maybe patch them, or you may need them to compare the new one to.

I will be keeping that in mind as well, though I am probably going to be using my original rad support.

This is what's taking up the other half of the garage. A 77 corvette I recently got from my mom.
