Re: My Facetruck thread.
Speaking of happy happy joy joy...
We got slammed yesterday: We generally don't get a lot of snow, we are in a little bit of a rain-shadow for the normal storms, but when they come in from the south, watch out-that's the south side of the tree the snow is stuck to: We ended up with about a foot altogether, and more coming tonight they say.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
We need to take that last question about the paved roads off our form since Arkansas has 6 times the paved roads per capita that California does.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
A young doctor was seeing an 80 year old woman for the first time.
He told her to bring a list of all the medicines that had been prescribed for her. Looking through these, his eyes grew as he realized Grandma had a prescription for birth control pills. "Mrs. Smith, do you realize these are birth control pills?"* "Yes, they help me sleep at night." "Mrs. Smith, I assure you -there is absolutely nothing in these that could possibly help you sleep!" "Every morning, I grind one up and mix it in the glass of orange juice that my 16-year-old granddaughter drinks. And believe me, it helps me sleep at night."

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I pulled that trailer (or one like it) to El Dorado, KS to get a dump truck once. I was going to haul Blue back on the trailer. Dump Truck was misrepresented, so me and Blue took the long road home pulling an empty trailer.
By the way there are two new 11.00/22.5 truck tires and wheels under that trailer. I unloaded them, and backed the trailer over them in the motel parking lot. Nope, they were still on the trailer when I took that picture.

It just dawned on me, Larry, all your trucks are usually red aren't they? I remember when you stopped by here you were on your way to OH for another red one.

Linda traded that Escalade for a new White Diamond colored Tahoe a while back Doug. Variety is the spice of life Doug. Even if it is a variety of red trucks. That old blue truck is just so dependable and nice to drive I never think about driving my late model. The K10 I'm working on now is Ochre, so that should spice it up some. This is the truck from Ohio.

Five minutes later the baby was still not feeding, so she said, "Come on, honey. Take it or I'll give it to this nice man here." A few minutes later the anxious man blurted out, "Come on, kid, make up your mind. I was supposed to get off four stops ago!"*************

Re: My Facetruck thread.
special-K, I was re-reading your hat post.
Did you order a warm hat day, or did you order a warm hat. I suppose in the end it's the same thing. Why did I waste time on that?

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Yes, I ordered a hat day and that was before yesterday!! I am so tired of all this drama here on FT. I put up a simple post about a very interesting event I thought all my "friends" () would want to know about and it turns into all this!?! And not a single like or share!?! I don't buy warm hats every day I'll have you know. In fact, it's been over ten years and that was before I was on FT! Have a nice day... FRIENDS!!!

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Yep, you asked for it. My son came home for Christmas and he hasn't left the couch since. He has Norovirus. At one point he was on all fours, pushed up say 6" off the couch, not because he was chucking, he was trying to find some level of comfort. Never quite visualized that before. I bleached the place. My mother and step-father aren't doing well. Mom has kicked breast cancer's azz twice, the first in 97 with chemo and radiation, the second three years ago. She kicked lung cancer's azz too, in 2011, and that's with two collapsed lungs.....She's regressing some mentally and more physically. Everything is a big deal. My step-father is a Vietnam Colonel. He's 87, and has smoked since he was seven. He still walks better than most in their 60s, but his mind is deteriorating. He continues to make for great conversation, and we're a lot alike. If you didn't know my dad you'd think he were my dad. The guy quit drinking scotch on a dime two years ago, and not so much as a beer since. My only complaint is he was hilarious under a 2-4 drink daily spell. My parents won't leave their two-story house. After being together 36ish years, married near 32, and three kids 18 to 31 years old, I'm currently determining how we split the sheets, which I'm presenting to "my ex" (has nice ring to it) next week. Heck yeah man, I chose the 71 over my wife. More seriously, this is long time coming and worse by the day, but she doesn't much care for the project. The Chevy is not guilty if I say up she says down. I give the decision a thumb's up man, and I'm looking forward to it. But wholly *&%(*%(, doesn't come cheap. The place is nearly paid for and I'm not going anywhere, meaning the balance is going to be 40Kish more than it was to begin with, in 2001
