They just had one for free shipping if you bought over $199, but it ended on the 14th. They tend to do one every couple of weeks... just sign up on their website and you'll get the offer in your e-mail.

Thanks I wanted to order a HEI tach harness and they want 18 bucks to ship a $17.00 harness. I called and talked customer service and they claim since it is going to be made by American Auto Wire that is why shipping is so high. I think it is crazy that all they are going to do is call in the order to AAW and they do not touch a thing and make that kind of $ on shipping something that could go in a padded bag. Rock Auto has very good prices but their shipping is outrageous.

The trick with Rock Auto is to order several items at once and have them all shipped from the same warehouse... otherwise you do get the shaft in shipping.

My wife makes drapes and does upholstery. She gets a little book in the mail every couple weeks from Joanne's that includes a coupon for 50% off one item. If you're in the market for something from Joanne's, you can get on the mailing list, and believe me, some of that fabric can get expensive.
