Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
me no likey no more...looks like ass actually its all dented, bent, doesnt seem to fit rite...may figure out how to mount a newer smooth silverado bumper on,,of course, sectioned, narrowed to fit nicely....plus i can make the mounts for the bumper lower...so it'll look lower in the front...it's the highest part of the whole truck

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
that was the original plan for me too...if u look at the drawings done....but still not sure,,,i like both looks...more the pan on the trucks than burbs
Still up in the air if I'm going to do a roll pan. If I do it it's all getting shave and welded together, seams and all. Posted via Mobile Device[/QUOTE]

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
Very nice 1sick7T2 burb you have.
One question about your flip over hood-system. Is that custom made or it it available at a shop? It looks very nice! Never seen that before. Those licenseplates, is it possible to get some plates for somebody who's living outside The States, just for fun-use, or are there restricted rules to get some custom-made californian plates? I look forward to see the final paintjob on your suburban. Regards, The Frisian outlaw |

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
The panels look sweet! How much did they set up back and can you get more made?

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
....a slight update for those who care...haven't been here for a while.....just had the body pinch cut off....had all the rockers plated with 1/4" steel..lays flat now......so now if i drag, the body is WAY stronger....and bought a complete 'parts' burb 4x4.....using 1 of the bench seats for the back....and took off the front bumper...sectioned it 2" and setting it closer to the grille...close up the gap....welding all the bumper bolts to the back...so i can grind them down on the front.....SMOOOOOOOOOTH AND WILL BE CHROME picture soon had some 3" speakers adapted to the dash ac vent holes (where the chrome ac balls are) looks good..... on the freeway they suck thou,,,lol...........does any 1 know if i can buy the bench seat material that i have (orange, black and white plaid)? mines pretty worn...plus wanna do both bench seats...........tell me what u think L8

Re: project "DIRTY BURB"
I always wondered about doing speakers like that too, looks like it works well! bumper looks sharp too. I'm trying to remember if it was a magazine build or what that they worked on a bumper and left it wider but rolled it back around with the lines and all and met it to the body, if that makes since, instead or leaving the edges straight...
