Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Here are some pics of box chevys a guy from our local frorum took of a local car show in Sout Padre Island:
Pics don't do this truck justice. I've seen it in person and it is simply awesome. Triple stage black, paint looks super deep.

Description: After about 10 months of the motor just sitting and about 5 months of being swapped from my 72 Nova into the truck, I was finally able to crank up the motor for the first time today since. After wiring up all of the MSD ignition we poured a little gas in the carb and it fired up like I just ran it moments before. And yes.. I was a little excited. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=1420165763 |

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Here is mine that I am working on. I have it tore down now with full air ride and doing all the metal work for new paint and interior. Still undecided on wheels.
When I got it. I have had it since I was 14. Last year. Rat Rod Style. Last Month. Air Ride but still Rat Rod. I want a clean custom now not a junker. Thanks, Jason |

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
rchadhaney, do you have a link to the ebay add? what trans is in it? the 4L60 or 4L80? or is it a T5 or something??
is the engine a 4.8 5.3 or a 6.0? i thought about doing a 5.3 swap in my truck, good gas mileage compared to the 454 and plenty of power!

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
I've seen it @ several local shows. It's nicer than anything I own but for some reason it just doesn't 'flow' for me.
