Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
Thanks Bardahl! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...
Quote:
I looked at all types of wheels and for me and the budget I settled for show wheels streeter (polish). I got them off the brown truck yesterday! I'm not a wheel specialist but man they are nice looking. Searching for tires and I ended up ordering Toyo 295/40 for the rear and 255/40 for the front. Once I get it all together and see how things settle I may tweak on the springs some like you did. |

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
That thing is killer! My dad built it over the last 3 years.. I learned a ton helping on the 56. That's the reason I decided to jump in on a 72 truck.
The black is sooooo nice. White and black interior from Larry's Thunderbirds. |

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
Truck looks great! And when you said Crown Vic, I got scared. Then saw the pics and went back and reread the year. I thought you'd gone off your rockers restoring an 80s or 90s Vic. Hahaha! I didn't know those cars used to be cool!

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!
Here's a couple... I think the blue/baby blue would look cool on one of our trucks. The thought crossed my mind several times but... I really wanted it to look more stock.

I like them I think they will look great. Can't wait to see them mounted on the truck. I forgot to ask about your Raptor bedliner, did you roll it on after you painted it or did you spray it on?
