Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........

Yep! the 402 is a big block platform, however, not really big cubic inch. I'm not really impressed with what I have been reading about the ramjet 502. Not to say its all bad, just that there is better for the price.

Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........

Nice vidio but you really could not get a good feel for it untill the last frame from out side the car as it took off and was just gone.

I think I will still go for a twin turbo LS motor

Re: Film Guy Project Build Thread........

Last I saw the cab/doors were back from the strippers & some 'not-so-easy' decisions needed to be made. The cab roof is less than desirable so the dilemma is what to do to get it right w/o being on 'nic-name' terms w/the president of his bank .

Got an update. New engine came in. Its a 572. Here are a few pics. Not so impressive in the looks department, but it made 711 hp on the dyno with pump gas. A little paint and polishing is needed.

Last I saw, the frame was getting boxed from the front MII install back to the trailing arm crossmember. The cab had been set back on the frame.
