Re: 66 chevy project
How do you stay motivated to finish a project. I have a new job and hardly have any time to work on the truck. All I want is it finished so I can sell it and get it out of the way. I need my shop room. Lots of life changes right now,Any one else have this problem?

Re: 66 chevy project
Life happens and it's hard to stay motivated on a project. Sometimes you just have to let it hang out for a little before your interest starts back up, but car show season is starting, that always helps me. The truck is looking really good, and you're not that far off. If I could slip away I would come help ya and give some motivation. Also have to remember that the trucks are just projects, life and family will always be more important.

Re: 66 chevy project
I had a complete rolling chassis ready to go within a year of starting, then life kicked in and it came to a stop for 2 years. It's my dad's truck so selling it was never a thought but I did wonder at times how I would ever finish it.
Taking a break helped, then just doing small things like cleaning the shop helped motivate me again. I have a deadline now which has really motivated me because I do not want to work all nighter's to finish this. Small steps, have a game plan and make sure you have or can find the parts to help eliminate frustration, that is about all I can offer. Good Luck, Quote:

Re: 66 chevy project
I can make up my mine on the rims. I have the white hub caps so I was thinking of going with the blue to match the truck but black dont look to bad either. So should I do black or the light blue
