Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

well, my tank is going to have to be put in about the same spot as Dan's '52's tank so it's going to be kind of exposed for a bit until I put the bed floor in so I'd rather it look a little bit nice at least.

knowing how I want to do it isn't the problem, paying for it is.

Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

I'm going to see what I can find for fuel cells that might fit where I want and try to figure something out unless it's outrageous, then I might go that route

Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

hmm, kind of hard to see I guess. there's more than what I have on that spreadsheet too, I'm just too lazy to add them all.

Increase the mag. bottom right of your screen turn it up to 400 then you can see it easy. I'm kinda old so I just leave mine on 125 all the time.

Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

anybody got a timing light that lives near me? I don't know jack about motors but I emailed the guy I bought my truck from some pics of it now so he could see all the changes and he said......"oh by the way, I'm pretty sure I retarded the timing 5 degrees before I put it up for sale so you might want to advance it 5 degrees."

Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

the truck runs great so I don't think I "NEED" to do it at all. The guy I got it from is a mechanic in Lincoln City, that's where all the rust came from.. He did the motor, trans, and rear end. The motor is supposed to be a pretty fresh GM Performance Parts 350hp 350ci with around 5k - 6k miles. TH350 trans with a stage 2 shift kit, and a 3:42 posi rear end. that's why I bought the truck, it definately wasn't for all the rust.

Re: Project Ru5tyNut5

good times at Johnny's 'Ol Skool Motorcycles today, a couple little sprinkles but it wasn't too bad at all. My phone died soon after I got there due to my daughter playing massive amounts of games on it so I wasn't able to get much as far as pics, but it was cool. I was among the first to arrive and only got one pic of my truck there before my daughter killed my battery, and it isn't a very good pic.
