Looks much better! So...I assume you're running the trim the rest of the way back?

maybe, but first I wanted to see what it'd look like. I'll have to cut one at a custom length

Re: 8-9 seater shortbed

I think the truck looks great in the picture with the tape where the handles would be white and no trim....that'd be my vote

Have a hole in the gas tank, so it's in the shop waiting to get repaired while I drive old faithful. Got a new bed and built a bed cover too. Took it on a trip to Dodge City and back! Lots of fun for a hunting/road trip.

Re: 8-9 seater shortbed

Is it me, or would a dually tire kit look awesome?

Let's all pitch in and get him a kit. (about 5 bucks per member)

He's dumped a lot of time, sweat & creative dollars into this ride.

Just a thought....

I was just showing appreciation, for all the pictures & descriptions he has shared.

It's not up to me to "announce" a donation.......

But dually wheels would look cool.

Re: 8-9 seater shortbed

I ran across this one back in December. It's seen better days, but it gives you an idea of how it could look as a dually.

It just needs a wash....... maintain them...... they last forever.

(and open the door and get that seatbelt back inside!)

Ehhh...you can't really see from this angle, but it was in serious need of some bodywork too. The ZR-1 rollpan needs to go too. Nothing a little TLC and attention couldn't take care of. I'd love to have it and rebuild it. I'm wondering how he fills the fuel tank, though, since it has the standard dually fenders covering the fuel filler instead of using the shorbed dually fenders.

After looking at the truck some more, it's not a standard 6.5' bed either. This truck is a shorbed with standard dually fenders. The fenders only cover half of the fuel door and leave a good 6-8" of bed in front of them.

Re: 8-9 seater shortbed

wow, cool pics 1badgmc! I'm good though, no need for donations for a dually kit
It's neat to see someone had a similar idea as mine.
