Exhaust
I bought some Flowtech ceramic headers. The flange didnt line up with the head very well, so I cut the flanges. I used Thrush turbos and used 2-1/2" EMT for exhaust pipe. Never thought of using EMT for exhaust. Good idea. I thought of using 1/2" aluminum IMC to run the wiring to my rear tank and tail lights.

Re: k5 66
It makes some folks sick to weld, but if ya drink milk afterwards, you wont notice it, you wont notice it, you wont notice it.

Re: k5 66
Hey I love your build ! looks awesome. I am putting a 65 on a 77 k20 frame and have a quick question for you. How did you mount your Radiator ?
Thanks for the help.
We still had the original radiator in it. About a month ago....it laid down on us. The old one. Attachment 537084 I couldnt find a OEM replacement that I could afford, but I did find an aluminum one that was very affordable. The 1st on came in and it looked like it had got ran over by a bulldozer! Attachment 537085 Attachment 537086 They sent me a 2nd with no hassle. It fit well and was set-up for an automatic, so now we have a secondary transmission cooler. Attachment 537087 Attachment 537088[/QUOTE |
