I totally missed that one!!! Here I was thinking XXL was a little pervert, and all he was doing was complimenting me on my choice of nail polish! I do think the Hello Kitty is a nice touch.

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
The wheels are BOZE FORGED, they're 19x8s up front and 20x12s in the rear. The tires are Michelin 275/35R19 and 335/30R20. The rears are 28" tall.
Kevin- I only thought it was legal to hijack your own thread! The truck's looking good... I think it needs a Dropmember C4 to compliment that Vette motor!

Trust me if this truck was not built this way 7yrs ago I would go for the dropmember in a heart beat. But since the rear frame is already done, bed is stepped as well I would do it but since it won't go any lower in the rear I can't see it needing to be any lower in the front But don't worry that 2wd blazer is getting closer by the day But I do need new tires for this truck to better fill the wheel wells and the bed is already maid for it and wider! Here's a few of the rendering angles that give a better idea as to what the finished product will look like. There have been a few small changes from the renderings.

Or, how about... "World's fastest Ford 267 V12 flathead '69 Camaro roadster" Nobody would dare copy that!

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
I was reading that one as it un-folded & agreed w/you 100%..... FWIW, I thought you were a stand-up guy w/how you handled it. I've never met either of you; but after reading through that, I would only care to meet one of you (even if he was only 50% kidding).

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
after looking through his gallery and reading some of his articles, i cannot agree with you more. He does some freakin awesome work.
I can only hope to some day be able to produce renderings half as good as what he has done. |

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
if it was my car i wouldnt had put that type of rollbar on , the rest of the car looks good
mercedes has a nice rollbar on its convertable wich shoots up realy fast from the rear when a rollover treathens , when driving normally its sitting flat behind the seats

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
Nathan i have a quick question for you about the Mustang II rack your kit was designed for. I know there is 2 different racks as we talked about it when i placed my order. Is you kit designed around the rack with the mounts being 16" on center apart? If not, would i use the offset bushings to make it work? Figured i would post here for people doing a search in the future.

Re: Dropmember in a 69 C10
Got my kit today and cant say enough about Nathan and the crew at Porterbuilt. From the first phone call till the delivery the service has been top notch. Did i mention the qualtiy of the work? The welds were so clean its a shame to hide their work. Thanks again!
