Re: Post pics. Lets see how many 60-66 4x4 are out there.
Here is mine in El Mirage Dry Lake in So. Calif after some huge rain storms we had back in the late 70's
It used to be a fleetside but, I slid it into a tree on a wood run in the mountains. I did not have the money for a new bedside at the time so I traded to a guy for his stepside. |

Re: Post pics. Lets see how many 60-66 4x4 are out there.
I found this interesting, how a 66' Chevy SB 4x4 and a 66' Ford SB 4x4 are similar in body lines, aluminum grills up front and rear bumpers. These pics are of my Chevy and a Ford that belongs to a friend of mine. I have tried to convince him to move over to chevy's, but that's a big argument so I don't think that is going to happen. I hope this thread doesn't crash because of these pics of this Ford. And please don't shoot me.

Re: Post pics. Lets see how many 60-66 4x4 are out there.
Those 1/2 tons came with a single speed Dana 21 t-case till 76. Ford 4x4's never had disc brakes till 76 either. Fords better idea! I think not! Lots more 1/2 ton 4x4 Chevys than Fords sold in those years. Chevy gave you more for your money.

Your friend can`t help it,he was born that way.
I love all the old trucks.I just choose to own GM for my own personal reasons.I really like the first boxy 4wd trucks from the`60s and would like to have one (at least) of each:Chevy,GMC,Ford,Dodge,IH from the same year.

The Blue one has a build thread either on High Angle Drivelines website or on Pirate 4x4.com.
