got the oil pan cleaned up and scuffed along with the water pump i was gonna do more but i just got at stuff and just took my 71 out for a drive and when i got back i sprayed them with primer i will paint them with the motor

Hey HUB, I come down to fayetteville at least once a month unless i get a call. i take care of the regions bank maintance.do you know what year the truck seat came from?i just bought a 68 short step side i am playing with. thanks Bobby

hey hub rattle can paint stripper from napa works great on undercoating and in hard to reach areas.just be sure to rinse and dry well.btw the projects looking great.

i would bet late 80s or early 90s same seat as my brothers 89

got the heads, oil pump, oil pan, balancer on today the front small head bolt on the green head the threads messed up when i went to torque it down so we will sort that out but i still gotta clean up the intake and stuff

got the head bolt problem fixed with a heli-coil, and got the intake painted no pic of it painted it with alum. color paint and got the motor painted

block looks good!

Why not left the freeze plugs brass color'd to break it up? What valve covers ya gonna run? And ya ought to swap the painted bolts for stainless at your fastner store (ALOT CHEAPER THAN A KIT, I bought the kit..lol)
