Re: 1966 "find and fix"
Been awhile - enjoyed the truck over the summer. We (wife and I) went to several car shows and cruises. We also have a group of people that go for a ride on Tuesday's, usually 5 - 8 vehicles, and then stop to eat.
Bad news is engine gets about 75 miles per quart of oil ! Old motor was just wore out. Pulled it out first part of October, had it rebuilt at Baldwin Racing Engines . Waiting on him to run it on his dyno. Motor is bored .030 over, cam, offenhauser intake, 390cfm Holley carb, also picked up a 292 exhaust manifold for it. Hopefully I will have a video when we run it on the dyno.

Re: 1966 "find and fix"
Been awhile ...... Just been driving the truck - cruises and car shows. For what ever reason folks around here don't appreciate patina old paint and such. Motor doing good. Had some carb. problems with the holley at first. Ended up changing the power valve, and jetting it up some.
Last fall put a saginaw 4 speed in it (see pics). A lot more fun to drive than the 3 on the tree.

Re: 1966 "find and fix"
Wife says we need power brakes, power steering, and air. Who am I to argue. So I started searching for brackets for a straight six for the power steering pump . Very, very, rare to find, but I did manage to find a set from Desert Valley in Arizona. So this is my next project.............
