Re: Mike's 50
Here are some final assembly (hopefully) pictures. Frame is going back together, still need to torque everything. need a port plug for the proportioning valve otherwise could have bled brakes.
Have Dyna Mat to start installing in cab. will start working on cab assembly. I will roll cab on back to clean, and coat with raptor liner or something similar, then will be able to install cab to frame.

Re: Mike's 50
Not alot going on other than working, not on the truck much.
Got the bottom of the cab cleaned and put a coat of Por15 top coat on and will cover next with MonstaLiner roll on bed liner. I've also started on reassembly of doors. Hopefully will be able to apply bed liner next weekend.

Re: Mike's 50
For 2 gallons with everything you need including mixer, rollers, brush, etc was $250. it is from Chassis Saver. They have tintable also. shipped to my door.
2nd and final coat. will still need to do inside of front fender and also rear fenders.

Re: Mike's 50
Stockish, Advanced Design, Reaper71, Thanks.
Got the cab back on the chassis hopefully for the last time. Started filling and bleeding brakes, not done. Have had a few small leaks. I'll get it. I also put the steering linkage back in, need to reclock it and loctite the set screws.

Re: Mike's 50
I do like the trans dip stick tube tucked away like that, if it is reachable. Plus loctite on the steering set screws...going together and staying together.

Re: Mike's 50
FYI, I am getting some fluid from my Lokar trans dip stick where it meets the seal on the trans, my plan is to remove it and add silicone around the base to see if it quits leaking (4L60E)

Re: Mike's 50
Solidaxel, I did put a small amount of silicone on the tube fitting at transmission case, just above o-rings. It actually mentions it in the install directions.

Re: Mike's 50
Did you put bedliner under the hood as well? Looks like great stuff and went on smooth- I am debating between this stuff and raptor liner. Any reason to sway me? I like that the Raptor liner isn't chunky- but the monsta liner looks pretty smooth as well....

Re: Mike's 50
Hulk64,
I did not use bedliner on underhood, it is just a Hot rod satin black paint same as firewall and rest of underhood metal. I bought product for roll on fact. It is sprayable also. Cant say anything about raptor liner, I was looking for ease of prep since not spraying, prep was "easier" I'm happy with the light texture and ease of use and will be using on underside of front and rear fenders. Eventually will find out how durable it is once on the road.
