Re: Ol Blue
So you do still live! I have been working on the air ride and a/c. Only thing I have to show is the face lift.

Re: Ol Blue
New grill and bumper. Also you can see the new marker lights also. No much more to report yet. Still working out the air ride ideas. Thinking the PB stage 2 in back and some drop spindles up front.

Re: Ol Blue
Is that picture at Flashbacks? Can't wait to be back in that area!! Yes I live but bearly I'm out of commision for now due to a back injury. Should have some new pictures on the 57 some. Did a home made rear shock relocator with a air shock that is supposed to be for my truck.... maybe it will work...? I guy from work is helping me and he seems to be pretty on the ball.

Re: Ol Blue
How is the ride with that setup? I'm set on going air ride but for the time springs like that might be nice.

Re: Ol Blue
It's weird because the stock coils someone at onetime heated so it was lowered but it was very bouncy wit these coils drops so low that the axle is sitting on the rear rubber stops but a nice cpp said it shouldn't set like this I sent them photos will see what they say about solving this issue

Re: Ol Blue
They said to c notch it which was stupid cause I asked what kit should should I go with with out c notching it an they said 3 in the front an 4 HEAVY DUTY in the rear so I did. Do you have the rear leaf spring I noticed on a friends suburban had a single leaf spring in the rear mine dose not have them previous owner must have removed

Re: Ol Blue
Got my "T" blocks mounted up so I could see how the lines would run. Also wanted to keep the lines low and clean.

Re: Ol Blue
I'm happy with how it looks. lines run nice and tight. Nothing Rub's. Tonight I will get it vac down and charged. It will be nice to have front air till I can get the rear all worked out.

Re: Ol Blue
The block is to add rear air when I get a chance and have front a/c now. I could have just installed the lines that come in the kit but I wanted to get this part of the job out of the way first.

Re: Ol Blue
Thanks. I want to keep a simple and clean look to it all. I don't like to see lines and wires all over the place.

Re: Ol Blue
Last weekend we hit a high of 117. I took a drive in the suburban down the I10 and the A/C worked great. I drove all over town and even got stuff in traffic. No problems with cooling the cab or the engine. I don't think people in the rear seats would have been vary comfy but I was fine. I watched the vent temps and they ran about 50 in that ambient. I know rear A/C will be a bunch more load but I have a idea for a improved condenser and how I can improve air flow over it if I need it. I don't think I will get to it this summer. Work has really limited how much I work on Old blue but I do get to drive it everyday so it balances out.

Re: Ol Blue
Sounds great. I had been thinking I might do the LS swap on one of my trucks. If you do install one keep me posted.
