Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
I dont want to put power windows in the truck because of the style of the truck. I just picked up some after market cranks and door handles so I will see if they will work. Plus if I put power windows in the truck I will have to have to make new door panels and that would suck. I will get you video after the show this weekend. I will have more pics for you guys of the interior when my friend and I are finished with it today. Thanks for all the support and take care. Eric

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Awesome attention to detail. I usually dont like "theme" vehicles but man this one nailed it. Hope ya dont mind but im saving a few of these pics (ok most all of them) for backgrounds and such.
Again awesome |

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Had a chance to look this truck over closely at the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona. Great job and very creative......
PS: I was especially checking out the inner fender work because I need something made for my truck. Superflysteiny, any comments you can share about those??? Thanks! |

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
The truck looks great, I almost went to that show but had to cancel last minute. I would have loved to have seen your truck in person. When you get a build thread going for your wife's truck put up a link on this thread for us.

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Ok I will get the link up asap. Just took the truck over to have some ultra leather seat pads and back padfs mad along with a full head liner. I am glad you guys like the truck. Once I get the interior finished I will get you guys more pics. I will get the new thread for shawna truck started some time this weekend. Then I am going to start the build on my 64 suburban

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
Love the bombs.
Did you see how that blue/silver trucks hood/cowl was done? I've been thinking about that mod for a couple years and hadn't considered doing it with the flip forward hood. I always got stuck figuring out how to keep the back of the hood from hitting the fenders or windshield, etc. Many of those vehicles were in that Optima Batteries challenge done after the SEMA show that I DVR'd last week. Excellent cars.

Re: second chance 67 chevy, project from hell
I cant believe the blue and silver 67 did not win its class. That was the nicest truck there from 1957-72 in my opinion. Loved the paint and the interior.

sorry to hijack, but the blue truck was a topic on another thread, it was built by hotrods by dean in AZ. IIRC, WWW.hotrodsbydean.com
