Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

Do you still have the power steering gear box? Price? I have seen these shipped in a $17 priortiy box (you mentioned you didn't like to deal with large parts) Would be interested in the ps pump, brackets and hoses also. Price + shipping? 62565 IL. Thanks Roy

Hey Roy. Shipping the gearbox is not a problem. We just don't do body panels and stuff like that. The pump & brackets are sold, sorry. I would ship the gearbox to you for $85.00 shipped. Thanks, Fred.

Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

Fred,

I'm interested in the complete power steering setup (to swap into non-pwr) if you still have it available. Pump, brackets, gear, pitman, ... Small block - short water pump

Also looking for a carrier bearing mounting bracket -- like the one in the first picture in this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=584787

And finally also looking for 1 (or a set) of swaybar mounting brackets, that are riveted to the frame.

Let me know if you have them - Thanks
Ken

Hey Gary. The grille is rough and all the chrome has rusted off along the bottom. Thanks, Fred.

Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

Frame and cab still for sale.... OK guys. Barring any unforseen events, I am going to be done with this rig Sunday evening. According to the SPID it is a positaction rear axle. I do not want to remove it but will sell the whole chassis, nasty ass bed and rusty cab for $150.00 , you just bring some wheels & tires or we can load it and then remove mine. Any takers??? Thanks, Fred.

Hello, the defrost duct that you are showing isn't the ones that I was speaking of. I was meaning the actual duct that is in the dash.

Sorry, I don't guess I know which part you are talking about. It is an air conditioned truck and does have a good control panel with all levers intact. If that is what you need I will get you some pics & a price. Thanks, Fred.

Hey Jim. The keys are aftermarket, I did get time to check on that. My granddaughter came up for the weekend and I have just been able to get on here in short little spurts. She kind of like our time together and I am going to get all I can of it before she outgrows me. The vent windows are in sad shape, I have not checked on the kick panels, they are probably pretty rough as well. Shipping is going to be the deal breaker probably on everything you want. Off the top of my head. Steering column complete from nut to rag joint and the whole power brake set up,,,,$200.00 shipped for all of it.

Thanks, Fred.

Fred, now worries about taking your time, spending time with the granddaughter takes priority for sure. What's the best you can do on the complete steering column and whole power brake setup shipped to 30005 GA. I was hoping for around $150 shipped. Please post pics when you get a chance.

Thanks
Jim

Hey Jim. I do have the column and intermediate shaft. Also have the booster, brackets, rods, master cylinder, prop valve and short steel lines. I can get you some pics Monday evening. I just can't get to your $150.00 price shipped though. I will work with you and go $175.00 shipped for all of it. Thanks, Fred.

Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

I may be a little late since you've got it all taken out, but do you happen to have the steering column clamp on the engine compartment side? I've got the bracket that attaches to the fire wall, but the column is currently clamped with a hose clamp. I'd like to get it back to original style.

If you've got one, in good shape, let me know a price, shipped to 77471.
