thanks! I just went with the cabs original colour dark aqua poly, over the black epoxy primer.... it looks really blue on here but it's more green-ish looking in real life....

Fantastic !!! I was gonna paint my truck but I love the patina look. im interested In your patina technique. So the black is just epoxy primer ?

yep...dark aqua base over the epoxy primer.

Very nice. Got one just like it other than 1-piece DS. Its such a beautiful piece its a shame that you have to cover it up.

Just read through your thread. WOW! Excellent progress. At the beginning you said you paid $100 and if it was in bad shape you would push it aside. HAHA. Not the case. Keep up the great work.
