Here are the original ones in my '68 CST. The jacking instructions decal is on the passengers side seat riser and it does not have the Chevy Bowties in the top corners. The second set are Dodge buddies that I just put in my '67 Panel. LockDoc

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
Has anyone tried contouring the foam in the seat to make it more comfortable? The original foam gives no lower back support, and are too thick at the top. I would like to get some side support as well.

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
I have the buddy bucket frame and center, but some PO replaced the buckets with something else. Can anyone identify them? I haven't a clue but the backs are adjustable with a wheel and tilt forward.

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
That red set Chewy looks to the nines identical to the set displayed in the red 1968 GMC featured in all the original new model year advertisements. I am very impressed with those you must be very proud! What was your costs and sources, if I might ask?

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
I had sms fabrics in canby oregon make them. I sent my originals and they remade them in exact colors and even heat pleated the lines as originally done. I had my whole interior done this way to factory. I really can't remember the cost. It took them 2 years to do and was pricey but they did a awesome job. Here is 2 more of the rest of their work.

Unfortunately that method used by your contractor would not work for me as someone reupholstered my truck in cheap velour so i have no template for the tailor. Money is no object for that quality. I may have to contact you again, I want my truck to be like yours except factory light yellow with black upholstery. As far as your steering wheel, I thinking 67 Nova/Chevelle "deluxe SS" wheel for mine, but your choice is very similar and brilliant. Magnificent job Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
I'm in the process of trying to talk a guy into selling the buddy buckets out of his Dodge pickup. They've been reupholstered in black and white, which would match my truck pretty well! I'll post up a pic if I get them.

Re: Lets see those BUDDY BUCKETS!!!!!!!
Here is a set of buddy buckets I bought a couple of weeks ago. They were already reupholstered when I bought them and I got the matching dash pad also.
