Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
These are pics of my '93 after it was redone. Originally it was 2 tone Teal and Silver with a 4.3. Withing a month after getting the bugs worked out of it, I was hit in the driver side front corner.
It now sports a .060 over 350 with 2.02 / 1.60 heads, Mild cam, Edelbrock headers, Flowmaster exhaust, Sir Michaels rollpan, and other numerous parts. Now to just get it a little closer to the ground. And believe it or not it currently has a 3/4 drop kit on it. All bodywork was done myself and the painting was shared with my cousin and I. 2002 Prowler Orange over a buff sealer. The bedliner was done by Custom Linings which is a local guy near here and has a close pattern and a gloss to it which adds to the looks. I don't know exactly what I will do to it next but I have too much in it to ever get rid of it, so I might as well keep adding some mods to it. Besides that....that is what makes it fun. Right? And just for the heck of it I'll toss in a pic of my '89 Longbox as I don't remember if I ever posted a pic or not. Kevin

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
Here's the '91 I got a couple weeks ago. I got it from a guy I used to work for. 138K miles, I probably put 3K of those on it driving to jobs. 1st pic is what it looked like, 2nd dirty but current. Silverado with 350, fresh tranny, and Pimp Buckets with the built in ice chest.

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
I recently added another project..... 1995 ext cab Chevy which was a theft recovery. 350 5 speed, lowered 4/6 with a lot of unfinished custom body work done. Not a bad buy for $1500 I don't think.

My current truck, a '91 GMC Sierra SLE, 350 c.i. f.i., eight inch lift, hi-performance front suspension, American Racing wheels, 33x12.5x15 tires. The stock air filter system shown in pic has since been replaced with an Air Raid system. I use this truck to tow my antiques tractors.

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
Well, ok, here's my ride. It's a '92 Cheyenne W/T, basically a stripped model that I bought exactly fifteen years ago, TODAY!!! Funny, growing up I always hated the thought of a long bed two wheel drive pickup, and even worse with a camper top on it. Then what did I end up getting and keeping for so long? Hmmm..... Can't imagine..... Anyway, here are a couple pics of the original window sticker, the original newspaper 'special' clipping, a couple of the truck through the years with some of the stuff I / we've drug home together. To date the truck has 112,000 miles on it, it's gone through one complete set of brakes, an alternator, a distributor pickup & coil, a couple wheel cylinders, the usual tune-ups & stuff, and three or four sets of tires. The stuff on the lowboy I've towed with this one is everything from the logs that built our home to several antique tractors, old trucks, to my Jaguar E-Type Coupe. All this, and the original clutch still feels like new. (Much smoother than the '06 Silverado's clutch, in fact.) Nothin' fancy about her, but she's been a good one, and still looks & runs almost as good as the first time I drove her.
