Nice work stickman! I bet rays really missing that truck about now!

With all the egyptian engineering maybe you oughta name this truck the Pharaoh!

That blue and white truck looks clean, but looks like its missing something... door handles and marker lights!

no.. I think the flames are staying for the foreseeable future.
I typically don't think of these trucks as being the "right" vehicle to flame... but I can't really justify the expense to change them on this one now that they are there.

Stick did you notch the bottom of your core support for the body drop? Nice ergonomics putting the hood on by the way. Lift with your back and hold your breath, that's what my Dad taught me.

I haven't yet no.. but I am going to.. it looks like it could be relieved about a 1/2 inch and I'll have a ton of room. It might be different on various vehicles depending what body mount bushing/rubber thingys you have.

I AM the most ergonomically astute dude you know. It's crazy you know.. Pete taught me everything I know.

Re: Worlds Slowest Dropmember Build

Pharaoh, meaning "Great House", or "High House" originally referred to the king's palace, but by the reign of Thutmose III (ca. 1479-1425 BC) in the New Kingdom, had become a form of address for the person of the king.[3]

Sorry i had to look it up!

I finally got back out into the garage today to try and make some progress.. (please note the name of this build) got the cab squared/bolted to the frame and then moved to the front clip...

I think the rad support does need to be notched. Delmo.. did you need to do this on Notcho ?

It's either notch it or maybe the rubber mounts are too short.. looks like I need an extra .25" or .325" or so..

Any insight Nathan?

Re: Worlds Slowest Dropmember Build

Hi Kevin,

Glad to see your making progress again! The truck is looking amazing and cant wait to see it finished. Also a gentlemen and fellow Canadian by the name Jared aka romes20 may contact you for some questions.

Also as a side not it is great to get the kids involved! My 14 year old is begging to get started on the 68 Shorty I have been storing for a while.

Talk to you soon...

Regards,

Perry

Thanks a lot Mike. That's perfect, it tells me that 1. yes I need to do it and 2. gives me some good inspiration for how to make it happen.

Thanks Guys..
Yes I'm getting back at it here.
The project is going to take a few new directions but I'm excited to get going again.

Stay tuned I guess.
