Re: Mark's 66 Burb Build

thanks you guys. I try to keep as clean as possible. Tomorrow I have a new head unit to put in the truck. I got this JVC with a single DIN chassis and it is suppose to have a video screen on it so if its cool I will post a picture. Not really any room for a double DIN video screen.

I am seeing by the pictures I need a new brake pedal in the truck.

Re: Mark's 66 Burb Build

Your wife is not the only one that likes this burb.

Soooooo nice. I really like the color combination inside and out as well. "Less is more". One of the design basics that your truck has nailed.

Looking good.

Marc

Re: Mark's 66 Burb Build

Hey guys, not sure if we are suppose to talk about $ on here but I am thinking of selling the burb. I will probably market it on eBay like everyone else. What are burbs like mine going for? Just curious not sure where to price it. I certainly dont want to give it away but I dont want to put too crazy of a price on it. thanks

we wont mention my 69 C10 project that has been laying around for 5 years. However, we are getting ready to put some pressure on this project and knock it out.

Re: Mark's 66 Burb Build

What did you do for the ceiling in your burb. Is it paint or is it some sort of material. I can't quite tell. Kind of looks like some material of some sort.

its the original ceiling material which I believe is some kind of fiberboard. We just primed it and painted it black. I was nice to be able to paint the original and not have to add upholstery. It just made a nice clean look.

The front set up is all Ride Tech with their tubular upper and lower control arms and their bags. When the front drops the tops of the tires touch the front fenders. I did not make any modification to the front fenders. The back is Porterbuilt Drop trailing arms. I used a 12" weld in C notch from Porterbuilt as well. I hope this helps.
