Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

I am going to sooner or later redo my suspension and brakes I just hate to tear it apart again. we redid the complete suspension and the factory brakes they are all working perfect but I have the itch to go with four wheel disc (baer or wilwood) and also lower the truck some more specially the rear.

Hey Mike
The auction was cool, definetly saw some nice vehicles. I posted some picts in the events forum check it out....She would be a little more than just happy though the story has changed some she now wants an SUV so I guess I am going to take her 06 Avalon to the dealer tomorrow and put it in the used lot and get rid of it then let he drive different models so she can pick the one she wants when I sell her car.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Well I went ahead and ordered some more stuff today. Now I am getting all pumped up to start on this bucket again. If you see the "Big Brown Truck" point him down South to Big Al's

* New Trailing Arms
* Four/Six drop Kit from ECE
* Tonneu cover from Craftec Inc.

I really wanted to do the air bag set up but funds are not coming in the way they used to so I decided to get my bucket a bit lower. This way I know exactly what is being installed. So I will be having five inch rear springs going to the classified section along with my rear factory trailing arms just in case someone needs them.... Next time I post a pict of my bucket it will be lower than how it is sitting today if not I will go shoot my self....

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Just a thought if you wanted to change the look some more you could get clear parking lights for the front bumper and clear deluxe lenses for the side lights.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

I am one for stock looks; however, with that black and white color combo, I think that the clear lenses would make it look sharp.

i look at the very first post you will see that I had the clear lenses all around but I took them off as I thought they were a little too euro for my taste...

I had them but took them off, I love the stock looking truck with alot of hump under the hood and definetly the stance has to be lower than what mine is.
