Seeing this i want to try and build a 4link front and rear then a cage. Will most likey have to have to pay for it.

It's really not as hard as it looks. It would cost so much more to have a shop do it.

i could get a shop to use but i dont know how long it will take and how to set it up would it would be easier to do it with the leafs and the blocks still in it. i belive the offer my uncle gave me is still valid he said he would give me his king coilovers because theyre too big. i might call him today i guess see if i could use his shop this weekend and if he would give me some ideas to build it.

You can use leafs, but get Deavers if you are going that route.

Well, it's been awhile since I have done anything to the Blazer. I have been doing lots of research on my Gen III engine and getting all the parts for the cam swap. Also had a hard time finding a wiring harness for the engine because it is from an ;07 Tahoe, it is almost too new for aftermarket stuff, but I learned almost all of the extrior is the same as an LS2. I was able to get my stand alone harness done. In the next few weeks, I will get the engine moched up in the Blazer with the motor mounts, then I will get the engine back together.

As far as fab work goes, I got the front suspension and steering almost complete. Just need to fine tune, clean up then shoot some painty on everything. The geometry of the cross over steering was a bit difficult to fit and eveything work together as the suspension cycles 14". Because of the extra up travel, I had to move things around to clear each other.

Tomorrow, I am working on a list of parts for my brake lines. Again, because of the amount of travel, the brake lines will have to go from the master to the rear of my trailing arms, then back up to the calipers.

Really nice work sandking. The hours required to think about, then fab up, and then actually get this sort of stuff to work is alarming huh?! You must be happy to have this much done. Going to be a great truck.

Oh yeah, before someone asks about the welding on the steering arm, I did not have much of an option. The aftermarket arms are too long otherwise I would have had to push the steering box forward 6" more then the 3" I already did. I think it will be ok. The majority of the arm is still inside the new plating, I just cut off the ball joint part. So, there is not much stress on the new welded area.

Any info on the fuel system? I am about to have to run all my fuel line from the fuel cell to my 5.3 and Im not really sure where to start. lol

Sure, what do you want to know? I have -6 from the fuel cell to the filter, to the pump, to the regulator, than to the fuel rail. From the regulator back to the cell with a -6 for the return. I got a Summit high flow pump, 40 micron filter and a high pressure regulator.
