I had those same wheels on an 82 S-10. What a nice truck that was. $150 and ran it for over a year. Had duct tape holding the bondo on, or vice versa.

That one has to have the ugliest cap I have ever seen. If we ever have an ugliest cap thread, that one's got my vote. Worse than the old grampy aluminum ones.

I like the 80 Chevy grill, but it clashes with the GMC front license plate. Tailgate's GMC as well.

Re: Lets see some 73-87 work horses

Here she is having a day off (don't get many of those)

She's either getting driven to work every other day, hauling stuff to the dump or more stuff from Home Depot, hauling wood, when I leave it home I gave my uncle his own set of keys to be able to use it. (He's helped me out so much over the years, and been close family for us since we moved here)

It brought a little timbit player to hockey several weekend mornings when it was -30 or more below (celsius)

The last 3 pics are taken with my Uncle's crappy BB camera.

Re: Lets see some 73-87 work horses

Just a couple of pictures of the C-30 working on a Sunday. Came across a good deal on a feed wagon and round bale feeder, with one round bale tossed in on the deal for free.

Stopped at this local church in the country to check the load on a very hot afternoon here in rural Illinois!

Re: Lets see some 73-87 work horses

This truck earns it's keep in the Alberta oilpatch about 25 days per month. The mud on it was done in two wheel drive since I rarely have to use the four wheel drive. Paid 1600.00 for it two years ago and basically have done nothing to it except gas and tires. I can probably go more places in two wheel drive than buddy with his pimped out, jacked up duramax, have something left of the truck at the end of the day, have fun doing it, and if it does break I can haywire it back together and drive home while buddy is waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck. 22 years old and still going strong.
This is when Chevy STILL made four wheel drives.
350 done up, 465, 14 bolt full floater with posi, 4" suspension, 3" body on 35's
