Thanks a lt step side! There are a few different way to get your truck down to the ground! i had to bust my butt to be able to afford the drop member! if you really want the best save your money and you can have the same!

Alright, well Im bout to start my frame off on my 76 C-10 and I am just trying to figure out ways to get the frame clean quickly.

Looking good. I made the mistake of using a 4" hand grinder with a wire wheel to clean up my frame. Took 7 hours, I couldnt hear and my hands were numb for a day. I like your approach. haha

Did you strip fresh clean paint off or the original frame paint??

Damn this is turning out sweet. Your fab work is amazing, nothing like welds that look like a roll of dimes layed out. Its gonna be crazy to see your and Dennis's rides cruisin around Sac when you guys are all done. Im new to the site, but with builds like this, Ill definately be here a while. Makes me want to find a new project once I finish my 4x4

Thanks a ton dude! i got it from homedepot.. the trick to get it all off in 1-2 applications is use a wire wheel on a grinder it eats through the paint like a hot knife through butter.. the dropmember will be in soon! for good!

Well first and formost! welcome to the board it's a great place.. not full of negative comments and what not like other ones! Thank you for the complements on my work! i try to work hard and do things right and clean! I also cannot wait till out rides are out and about in sac! Projects are fun man! but they sure can suck down your money and your time!

Here we go! after long hours of flinging paint stripper with my grinder i finally got the frame in primer!!!!!!! There are a few things i am going to take care of and then its time to paint!!!!!

ooh yeah do not mind the very dirty garage!!
