Re: my 65 fleetside build
allabout, yeah i wish, i kinda got sidetracked for a couple days, way to many hobies. i did get my rad support sprayed and 1st guide coat on the hood with 400 fixing to start the second guide coat with 600 soon. then i need to mock everything up and make sure my fenders are going to be allright (keith) has me worried when he said he had problems with his but didnt elaborate on it. but thats where im at now.and i know exactly how you feel McMurphy.

Re: my 65 fleetside build
i've heard of relocating the stock antenna, hiding it in the cowl area...i had the AutoLoc hidden antenna on my '93 C-1500 custom with shaved antenna, & it didn't work very good

Re: my 65 fleetside build
the frontend of the truck is looking good! have you ever thought about the glass mount antennas? after i get the big back window in thats what i'm going to do, and if it dont work is only like $30 or so, i'm filling in my antenna hole!

Re: my 65 fleetside build
allaboutchevelles, my guidecoat is just some black sprat paint i mist over it, i tried the wipe on stuff, way to messy. the rad. paint is just epoxy in black its real close to chassis black looks good and its tough. lickaroc thanks for the info on the antenna, i think i will stay with the stock one. i also thought about the one McMurphy is talking about but my truck is going to have alot of chrome and stainless so i think the chrome will suit it better.never thought about a windsheild mounted antenna though, that might be something to look into thanks chad, and by the way how do you guys put the remarks of other members in your box, like i have said in the past i am very conputer illeterate.

Re: my 65 fleetside build
Flips, if all else fails the command for quotes is pretty easy just a {QUOTE} and a {/QUOTE} only with the square brackets like [ and ] instead. If I actually used them it would have quoted an empty box....
Think of it as QUOTE on and /QUOTE off. Once you get used to the html commands they are pretty easy as most of them make sense after you learn the rules. Hope that helps, I use the direct commands sometimes just so I dont goof something up.
