I like the painted wheel wells and core support. Makes it pop under the hood.

Re: I am from the Desert

today we put the grill on,, hood hinges and hood had the cowl on but removed it ....GAPS and adjusting the hood my Cousin doing a hinge ( body and fender guy all his life then managed a fairly big dealership body shop) He and I struggled with the hood latch and gaps put it all together and took it apart He is OCD like the rest of us ( you didn't think I could do all of this alone and called it a day... will get back at it Monday and get as close as we can at least as good as the GENERAL did back in the day...progress...

PS I will tuck the harness behind the fender ....some day

Re: I am from the Desert

Looking great! That's one funky shift lever. Looks like it's made to fit perfectly around a bench seat.

use Eastwood powder coating gun and their powders ... a residential used electric oven ....I have a blast cabinet from harbor freight .....prep like everything else is most important I set them up with wire hangers on the oven grill shelves apply the powder bake @ 400 for 20 mins and usually I have a nice finish here pictured mirror brackets and outer steering shaft I coated with EXTREME CHROME powder ...one of my favorites ...limited to size of parts you can coat by the size of your oven .... a few years ago I made an oven with electric hot plates and round 10 inch forced hot air duct for long slim parts like cross members center lines etc. just having fun ....its faster more durable and a lot less clean up than painting
