Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 Woody R
Looking good. What did you have in mind after you clean up the pipes? I used Rust-Oleum barbecue paint on mine just to try it and I'm pretty happy with how it's holding up. The semi-gloss looks a little nicer than flat black header paint.

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 Woody R
a muffler shop I have used before simply uses aluminum spray paint. it stays on and also stays the same color. just don't spill gas on it cause it will come right off.
bbq paint seems the better choice and also comes in a few colors. keep posting, cool to see the progress pics. |

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 Woody R
that is awful news.
Condolences to the family, he was very knowledgeable and always willing to help/share. I am sure there are many AD trucks back on the road today because of his help. RIP Skymangs

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 Woody R
heartbreaking! trucks are steel and glass and rubber, people and friends are what is important. godspeed chris. prayers for his boys.

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 Woody R
Chris was one of those exceptional people who shared his knowledge, and was always there to help other members out. It’s people like him that turn a technical forum into a community, and his absence will be sorely missed.
