Re: My first c-10

I love the build quality on this truck.

The exhaust turned out incredible. Love the flex couplings, and the muffler mounts in the rear are a slick touch. Most people don't realize how difficult it is to make a full exhaust for a bagged vehicle. All of the area normally reserved for mufflers is taken up by the rear links, and you have to consider clearance at all ride heights. That is tough to do.

The chassis color is nice and subtle. I'd do the engine and trans in the same color, too. I assume the outside of the truck will be black again?

Thanks!, for the kind words..

On the body color going to leave it the patina saddle gold color. Hopefully this or next month I'll have a roll chassis and pictures to post up.

Re: My first c-10

Regrettably, I must admit that I've never bothered to look at this thread because I thought it was the build thread for your GMC, which I'd already seen and thought you were already done with.

Sweet Fancy Moses!! This thing is beyond the realm of imagination for a tinkerer like me. I'm in for the duration and prepared for even more amazing work.

LoL..... Thanks, That GMC is my brothers truck that he built. I just did the back half and some random stuff. I wish I could change the title of the thread so it was more inviting. ha
