Re: '68 c10 build
Thank you. I haven't had a chance to do any work on the truck recently but hope to in the next week or so.

Re: '68 c10 build
I got a little done yesterday but didn't take any pics. I finally finished the ds wing window so all the glass is done. I also got the windshield wipers installed.
The following pics are pretty cool I think. They are having a rocker/cab corner party at my dad's shop. The black truck (72 fleet) is my cousins. He trailered it here from Texas. The red truck (72 step) is my nephews.

Re: '68 c10 build
Brief update: I spent a few hours on the truck last Friday. The truck is fully wired for the most part. I need to finish the tail lights once the bed is on and install and wire the Vintage Air. I also need to install the ls harness. However, I have to say it was exciting to turn the key and hear the fuel pump cycle for the first time though.

Re: '68 c10 build
Last Thursday the shop got the Vintage Air unit installed and wired. My goal in the next week or two is to re-cover the bench seat and get the interior pretty much complete.

I Don't think this one will fall into my budget unless I was finished with Walter. So, I'll need you to slow way down.

Re: '68 c10 build
Start up sounded mean. I know you said there was no exhaust, but is that just a stock motor. Ls3?

Re: '68 c10 build
It's a stock 11k mile Pontiac g8 l76. Even has stock exhaust manifolds on it. Basically the same as an ls3 from what I understand. I agree, sounds mean.

Re: '68 c10 build
Few updates for the week:
First, my bed was delivered. Looks pretty good. One small area that was damaged in shipping but not too bad. We're going to go ahead and fill the stake pocket holes.

Re: '68 c10 build
Second, we got the brakes bled but the pedal isn't right so we ordered a new booster/master cylinder/proportioning valve combo. It should be delivered this week.
Third, this isn't a very good pic, but my dad started building the exhaust. I'll try and get some better pics when it's finished.

Re: '68 c10 build
Finished the seat up today. Came out pretty decent.
The pic doesn't show up very well but also installed the new visors.

Re: '68 c10 build
This isn't the best picture either but I installed the overflow container. I found this one and thought it was kind of cool because it looks like the factory wiper reservoir.

Re: '68 c10 build
It's a coolant overflow I found online. I think I got it from Brother's.

Re: '68 c10 build
Anyone have any experience with these mufflers? I'm looking for a quiet but healthy sound.

Re: '68 c10 build
Exhaust is getting closer to being finished. Waiting for some exhaust pipe to come in to finish the tailpipes.
