Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!
Looks like it was for a good cause. Think I might even be subscribing to your build later so I can see more.

How mich has he overvalued his truck ( as much as I like it... not happening). We all know our trucks are worth twice any amount we spend on them right? :-) The question on "where did I see this for sale" was about neteng01's truck.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!
That is a nice one, and I agree with Rick.. I don't think I have ever seen the emblems on the leading edge of the doors. I wonder if they have it the same on both sides...?...

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!
Agree something isn't right here. The emblems go at the aft edge of the door and as was pointed out before the '72 used door emblems while the earlier trucks used fender emblems. The grill surround is painted as a '71. So if it is a late build (after April '71) it still should have the fender custom camper emblems. If it is a '72 the grill is wrong. Need to see the SPID (hint, hint) on this one. The answer might be as simple as a way to cover sport mirror holes when he stuck those T400 body mirrors on.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!
Hi Tim,
Yes, the pic of the blue truck for sale is what I was referring to as you were. It is odd because, from what I can see, he\she has the correct mirror on the windshield, front bumper for a 72, I did see other CCs with those roof lights before as well. The fender emblem looks to be a Cheyenne 20 so that looks right, but, I cant make out the lower letters of the emblem under the 20. Its like an itch you cant scratch... LOL, almost but not quite proper... I don't know, as rick indicated, it is interesting.. Pretty truck though.

Re: CUSTOM CAMPERS lets see them!
These trucks were built for a specific purpose when new: recreation.

Oh, good catch, looks like he added a power antenna to it as well. I hope someone looks at it and snaps a shot of the SPID...
