nah havent been in jail... a buddy of mine started building a go kart track and talked me into building one... so this is what i have been doin for the past month!! bout time to get back to work on the truck now that the kart is running

thanx man!! ya u cant beat the classic look of spokes on these bikes..hear pretty soon im gonna stretch my stock rear fender so it will match the length of my extended bags then repaint it.. i hate the graphics that are on it

well not much of an update but at least its something
i got all the bed floor supports all welded up and painted


started working on my rear brake lines today... hopefully i wont be lazy this evening and i will get some more done

I've got the same problem....hard to be motivated after working all day in the heat

finally had some time to get a lil work done.. plan on doing some more this weekend to
got both of the mini wheel tubs done.. gonna work on some bondo work tomorow




started messing with this but got lazy

i might be able to reuse this door sill plate..lol

I think your right. Just hit the sill with the wire wheel and it should look like new. Glad to see your back at it.

Very nice build!
I like the look of your photos too, they have an old chromatic film look to them, unless you have some sort of UV filter on your camera, I can only guess it is the lighting in your shop.
Good pics tho, keep them coming!

got some bondo work done... ran out of bondo though
im no body man so its taking forever

finally got the front tubs complete
i tryed to do the fake patina to half way match the old paint..






had to do some trimming but the stock hinges still gonna work!!!!


got the firewall welded up.. gonna finish it tomorow

got the firewall done.. threw the front end and the hood on to make sure everything fit good. everything worked out perfect!!!

Where did you get those engine mounts?

found them on ebay.. it was a engine mount/tranny crossmember kit

Killer! After a couple hundred miles those tubs and the firewall should have enough road grime to really blend in with the natural patina.
