I went through with the order to get mine in the queue and figured I would call you tomorrow if the price was still too high but it seemed to fix itself at checkout.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Thanks for all the orders and appreciate it very much. When the sale is over and we have a final count, Boyd will determine the build time on these tanks.

If so I may need to add it to my tank I just ordered.
I am not sure what the LT1 requires for fuel pressure vs. the LS series engine. The LS usually are at about 58 PSI. I imagine it will have the same GM disconnect fitting at the fuel rail though. Not sure if you can just cap the return rail on those like you can the LS's either.

Just don't know enough about them.

I want to thank everyone for the orders during this Black Friday sale, and once all are sorted, we will post back in this thread regarding a lead time.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Got mine yesterday. It is a work of art and way too nice to be hidden under a rusty old bed. Maybe I can go back to my mini-truck days and set up a hydraulic bed so people can see it

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

Got mine this past Thursday. What a fine looking product. Can't wait to install it and connect on up to the soon-to-be-installed LS3. Thanks Travis for the group buy on the tanks.

Got mine today. Pretty quick considering it was a group buy, on a product that needs to be made and I live in Canada! Looks great!

I'm way late to the party but any chance to still get one of these at Black Friday pricing? Needing one for a 71' center fill add on option

Unfortunately this sale has passed, and can't do the Black Friday pricing. Be glad to help with getting you one though.

Re: Boyd Welding Fuel Tanks: Limited Time Group Buy

If Im going with an LS conversion in my '65...do I need the 0-90 OHMS sending unit? I'm pretty sure the older SBC are 0-90...and assuming the LS1 would be the same? Can I get a quote for an efi tank for a 65 with an LS1?

It all depends on the gauges you plan on using, not so much the engine. If you plan on running stock gauges, then a 0-30 will be ideal. If planning to use Dakota or most other aftermarket gauges, then I would go with 0-90 ohm.
