Congrats on the build Brian. It look great and makes me wonder why I didn't build mine the way you are builing yours.(shoulda coulda I guess). Anyway it looks great and by the way your daughter is beautiful too. My son is two and always in the garage helping me on my truck.

Thanks guys... I am going to take a video of the Auto-Leveling tonight and post it up. Its really cool to hit that program button, walk away and watch it go through all the heigth adjustments.

#1 its the Handler 140
#2 I have budgeted myself to weekly allowance on what I can spend. To buy bigger parts I have to wait a few week and buy it. Its really helped me out on watching what I spend. BUT... I have spent a lot more than I thought I would. Since day one I have kept every single receipt and invoice on this truck. I even created a spreadsheet of every nickle and dime I have spent on this truck from the Porterbuillt suspension...to the parts to rebuild the rear-end and from the paint I bought at Lowes..to the nuts and bolts I picked up at Ace Hardware. That spreadsheet keeps getting longer and longer and my total keeps getting bigger and bigger. Really the only thing left to pay for is the back wheels. Which should get ordered this week. Then I will start moving things over from the red '68. (body and running gears) I dont want to share my total price on here but if I ever decide to sell it the buyer can have all that info. There are a lot of people that will ride you like crazy for sharing that kinda info. I wanted to share with you the way I did my budget bc, to me, it really helped. My wife would skin me alive if she ever saw that spreadsheet. LOL

Oh yea... forgot the video... its pretty boring after I hit the program button skip to around 2:00 minutes and you can see it work. I thought the tanks were full when I started it. I guess they werent.
Oh yea... and it bounces so much because I dont have the shocks mounted yet

Thanx on all the help. I totally understand the part about not sharing the total cost. But I really want to thank you for being very honest and up to date on your build (mistakes and what not) to help us avoid them. Not Luke the builds on TV where they go to a commercial an come back with the car 99% built. Thanx bro.

Incredible build for never doing such a project a day in your life! I'm doing the same thing budget wise (even though i'm sure my budget is MUCH smaller than yours). Since i'm a college student and can only work so much, i only let myself by a few things here and there, put em on, and wait til i have more money.

Finally got the swaybar installed. I have the truck sitting at ride heigth but the mount on the lower control arm leans back a little bit... What do you guys think? It ok?

Brown brought me another gift today!.... My REAR Wheels. WOOHOO!!
Boss 338 20x10 with the 6.25 back spacing.  The lip is much bigger on these..  Compare the 20x8 with the 20x10    Now that I have wheels... these are up for sale.

Brian, you probably want to snug those end links up quite a bit. I usually try to keep the 'arms' of the swaybar running paralel with the ground. The bushings on the end links should compress to the point they bulge about the same diameter as the washer sitting on top/bottom.
This might line things up a little better with the mount on the lower arm (?) But the end links look a bit loose to me. You might still have plans to tighten them (?). Thanks for that.... I will try to tighten them up a bit. That sway bar is not budging... I even tried pulling on it to see if I can straighten it up a bit. I got the sway bar from Nate at PB and the instructions say to use the factory hole then drill out the second one. and even looking at the measurements it's centered. Just looks like its leaning a bit too much. When I lower the truck to about 10% it is straight up and down.
