Re: Mike's 50
Got first coat of bedliner on bottom of cab and wheel side of inner fenders.
I used Monstaliner roll on bedliner. Tomorrow I will put a 2nd coat on.

Re: Mike's 50
For 2 gallons with everything you need including mixer, rollers, brush, etc was $250. it is from Chassis Saver. They have tintable also. shipped to my door.
2nd and final coat. will still need to do inside of front fender and also rear fenders.

Re: Mike's 50
Stockish, Advanced Design, Reaper71, Thanks.
Got the cab back on the chassis hopefully for the last time. Started filling and bleeding brakes, not done. Have had a few small leaks. I'll get it. I also put the steering linkage back in, need to reclock it and loctite the set screws.

Loctited the steering shaft set screws. Installed the brake pedal. Also Installed a Lokar black Transmission dipstick Assembly. Hope the trans mount Tube assembly will work. Couple of pictures. Re: Mike's 50
I do like the trans dip stick tube tucked away like that, if it is reachable. Plus loctite on the steering set screws...going together and staying together.

Re: Mike's 50
FYI, I am getting some fluid from my Lokar trans dip stick where it meets the seal on the trans, my plan is to remove it and add silicone around the base to see if it quits leaking (4L60E)

Re: Mike's 50
Solidaxel, I did put a small amount of silicone on the tube fitting at transmission case, just above o-rings. It actually mentions it in the install directions.

Re: Mike's 50
Did you put bedliner under the hood as well? Looks like great stuff and went on smooth- I am debating between this stuff and raptor liner. Any reason to sway me? I like that the Raptor liner isn't chunky- but the monsta liner looks pretty smooth as well....

Re: Mike's 50
Hulk64,
I did not use bedliner on underhood, it is just a Hot rod satin black paint same as firewall and rest of underhood metal. I bought product for roll on fact. It is sprayable also. Cant say anything about raptor liner, I was looking for ease of prep since not spraying, prep was "easier" I'm happy with the light texture and ease of use and will be using on underside of front and rear fenders. Eventually will find out how durable it is once on the road.

Re: Mike's 50
not much progress this weekend, pretty wet and cold( for the Bay Area) the last
week. Brought a door home and installed the weatherstrip. messed up and ruined the first time. 2nd attempt shown. Not happy, but hope the Drivers door will go better. have to order a new weatherstrip and will get a few other item when I order. Yes, I'm doing the weatherstrip in the living room. no mess and Girlfriend ok with it, or at least didn't say anything.

Re: Mike's 50
I would install that door on the truck first. Make sure it shuts well, before doing the other door. Some people have had trouble with the standard door weatherstripping.

Re: Mike's 50
Jweb, I was thinking the same thing. A friend of mine is having problems with the same issue after installing seals.
I used Steele rubber products in hopes of avoiding some of these problems. I have read about fitment issues with some of the "cheaper" seals not fitting well. Have you heard of issues with the Steele rubber seals in particular? I do have to wait about 5 days for a new seal from Steele, since I messed the other one up.
