No idea.
Harm posted it on his Facebook page.
And I immediately thought about your thread.

Re: Bringing home 69 Pete

Hey Peanutbutter, glad to see you post. I've wondered where you went and hoped you weren't in some sort of jam (ah jeez). This last picture is great! Even has a couple 67-72 GMs in there. How about that lunch wagon??? Cool beans! Back to the Peterbuilt...Yes indeed, paint yours back to original fleet colors. Hey,in the '60s painting a truck pink would raise an eyebrow or two. But,these days pink carries a bit less of a stigma, for (the rest of us) men. I'm still considering Palamino Tan on my '67 GMC. I hear people call it pink all the time (I think once it fades). It's peach y'all,DAMMIT!! No really,it ain't just Mary Kay anymore and it's just plain correct for that truck. Hey,it's real simple. Anyone makes a comment about the color get's their eye dotted. That outta solve any questions on that matter

Re: Bringing home 69 Pete

I wish this was a pic of my truck, I would be freaken out right now but its not, looking at the radiater shell below the headlight the shell tapers up towards the headlight on a 281, also mine has extra fuel tank behind battery box. All in all its the best pic of what my truck should look like and I think this is the way mine should go back to. You would think there are more Keiser company pics out there somewhere so I'll keep looking, maybe I'll get lucky.

Re: Bringing home 69 Pete

Not mine, here is one of those old butterfly hoods, my favorite era of Petes. Getting harder and harder to find, even on the West Coast. This one is glider kit, meaning the truck has been updated, no telling what the title year is. When I think Peterbilt, this is the truck I think of, not the trucks that are sold today.http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/4835806507.html
