Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
Have a pic and a small updatetonight. Its been so hot these past few weeks body work has been brutal but I have managed to get my boxside close. Sprayed the patch with highbuild primer in a can tonight.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
Here we go again, picked up the tools again now that the snowmobiles are put away. Over the past 2 weeks have worked on the boxsides and today I sprayed some high build primer. Going to let the box sit for a couple weeks and start on the cab. Will post pics as it moves along

Filled in the gas tank filler neck hole tonight. The patch I bought fit great.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
Got a little more done tonight. Pulled off both rotten drip rails and cleaned up for the new ones I'm picking up on sat. Got most of the interior and dash pulled out so I can finish bodyworking the dash and paint. Also pushed out the back glass and the windshield.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
Finished blocking out the box and after some glazeing and sanding I layed down some more high build so in a few days ill start the final blocking on the box sides. I also scuffed up the dash and put it in highbuild.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
Just a quick note, I also shaved my stake holes but didn't touch the stake pockets. They are little unsightly with no purpose anymore. I was going to cut them at a 45' to still provide some support but not be so ugly. Just a suggestion as you are at a good place to deal with them. Or not.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
I like the ides of getting rid of them but they don't bother me enough to put in the work.
The box is now ready for paint. Still have to pull it apart and clean up the inside. Posted via Mobile Device

Cool project. I can relate to all that bodywork. Takes tons of time. Keep up the hard work.

Re: 67 gmc-project ball to the walls
It's been awhile but body work is starting to continue. Working out of town for the last year has really slowed progress.
