Is that GM Torch Red? I'm going with torch red and white on my truck. Either way your paint looks awesome.

Those would look really nice! Yea the ones that are on there are the originals from a 95 1500 that i blasted and my brother painted. They turned out looking much cooler than I expected and I'm really diggin the black. They'll do for now and if I switch somewhere down the line, I think both the valve covers and air cleaner will be black. |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
i think you should get those valve covers and pain them black then sand the top so the script and ribs are silver again and then olish them shiny
just my 2 cents |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
A board member I bought my stepside bed and cab from gave me a free set of M/T's freshly blasted so I may leave them raw, smoothe out the fins and letters and clear them, love the old school look and they beat the hell out of the cheap chrome ones that came in my engine dress kit. The stance is looking great on your truck, look forward to updates

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Also got an MSD pro-billet ready to run distributor (Part No. 8360) but I still need a coil. I was a little bit worried about it fitting but it fits perfectly...just have to tilt the cab back a little to slide it in.

Alright as I was spraying black epoxy sealer last night, I had an idea. What if I only had the interior and engine bay in Victory red and had the rest of the truck in satin black? Ricky I'm pretty sure you'll be in favor of this idea Last edited by David67; 06-18-2011 at 03:57 PM. |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
And for now, I'm just going to get the interior painted and wait till the front fenders and doors are on and gapped to do the rest.
