Re: Square body extended cabs

yeah Thats my truck and its a short bed. To do a long bed the frame would have to be extended as well, i think? Otherwise you would not be able to mount you rear bumper. Maybe more issues?

Sorry, one of the side pics I've seen of your truck looked like a longbed. Yours is still a cool truck.

Re: Square body extended cabs

Texasfunk, i did get it out of the Lubbock area, Littlefeild to be more exact. I saw the add about 2 am sunday morning after a long work day and about drove myself nuts restraining myself from calling the guy too early. I left sunday after church and went and got it. He said a couple of people had called, but no one came thru. I got there about 3 and was home by 6.
All of these trucks basically have the same bed length, Its a longbed with about 18 inches cut out. wiggins' truckis a very nice truck, and would make someone an awesome hauler. I dont get the reason for needing a long bed basically because every longbed I had had a toolbox across the front, thus making it a shortbed any how, and the fact that I love my trailers. Id rather haul stuff on a trailer instead of in the bed of my truck anyday. Easier to load/unload, haul more. Thats just the way I have always been, plus the thought of one of these truck being any longer would be a pain. Theres already enough truck to try to turn and park as it is.

Well, if your talking about the red one, Im afraid my wife would divorce me. She kinda likes that one. If youre refering to the newest one, Im afraid its not worthy of trading for your truck and i spent my budget on trucks for the year so I wont even have enough for the difference, lol. You definately have a nice truck. I look forward to my crew looking that good, but it will be tuxedo black. Going for the full limo treatment.
I wouldnt have bought this one if it werent for the fact that it was a diesel. Ive been hunting a squarebody diesel for a while, just didnt expect to find it in an extended cab. It will be a pretty nice truck tho. It has a couple of body flaws, but I think pop a dent can get most out, and a relcear will revive the paint.
