Looking awesome. On your CPP motor mounts, are these the ones that say 67-72? I didn't see any for 63-66 but assume they are the same?

That sucks, I was wanting to use mine. Not that I NEED AC up here.

Build is looking great. Are you using all braided lines for fuel, or braided to hard lines?

I'm going to start with braided and see how that goes. Some say the shop will always smell like gas if I use braided lines, we shall see.

That's cool but those days are long gone here, If you ride around with that in the back window you won't be driving long and you will be on the national evening news. In MD even your water gun must be unloaded and locked seperate from the ammo ( the water )

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

This build will soon be in it's 4th month, if headers (from DT, thanks Shon) come in this week I can button a lot of things up and get closer to starting this thing. Chasis work is my favorite but I am really looking forward to sand blasting the bed and cab and seeing this thing in mock-up.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

Well today was a big day, I finally have headers . Got the Doug Thorley Headers #323Y-C in yesterday and they still hit the CPP perch's called CPP and emailed them a photo, they said I had the adapter plates that move the motor 3" forward, so they sent me the one that only moved it 1 1/4" forward, all is good, still close but good.

Thanks, I think they will match the overall truck well, not over the top looks wise but high tech.

The Sanderson headers are very nice as well but those 1 7/8" tubes make all the difference to me

Thanks and yes, I should ask you the same question. You are so close to driving your truck on a daily basis I don't know how you can think of anything else right now after all the time you have put in.

Once I'm done with the chasis I will post as many manufacturers and part numbers as I can. I need to give back because this board is what got me to where I am now.

HAHA, I'm pushing to get it on the road, even then it won't be complete. I'll be glad when I can think of something else other than what I will do next to the truck. I think we all suffer from that.
