Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I am doing the extended cab and the crew cab at the same time and thought I could slip in a 38 Chrysler too to make the wife happy, glad to have gotten the 38 done and the extended cab is getting there. Now it is the crew cabs turn soon.Good luck on the projects, I have taken apart 3 1991 Suburbans for the motors and trans and a couple of 1967-72 trucks too.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
A few more progress pics. I got the A/C hung in there, with the computer for the TBI hiding behind it. The unit is from hot rod air, I also got the holes cut for the lines.

What do you think of the quality on those headlights. Are they glass or plastic and where did you get them?

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I am making some more progress on the truck. I have it runnign and driving, down my street of course as it has no windshield or bumpers or license plates either. I am getting ready to take it back to get the outside painted.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
Is that a fiberglass cowl? Or did you get someone else to build you a metal one?

I am trying to decide which wheel to go with now. I have a poll with a couple of candidates to choose from.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
How are you gonna do the ceiling? Are you gonna go with cloth/material or leave it as is? It looks pretty clean now.
Btw, love the hose holder.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I will be going with a cloth headliner, probably in a light color like the new trucks. The seats and carpet will be a dark gray.

Re: New Project! 67 Extended cab...
I got the bed floor all cleaned up, amazing what 40 grit can do to paint and rust. I also got the bumpers all mocked up and my plate on too. The A/C is ready to be charged, get the frotn end lined up and back to paint the reat of the truck.
