Re: Post those wheels gallery

Weld wheels on a truck I sold some time ago. I always liked these wheels, but I felt the wheels/tires weren't sized quite right for the truck!

Re: Post those wheels gallery

Wheel Vintique Ralleys and caps. I have always liked the looks of this style of wheel, but it depends on what you put them on as to the effect they have on the vehicle. I had these for another project but ended up selling them.

Customers 70 short step , 1st pic 22X9.5 BOSS 338 with a 265/35/22. 20X8.5 on front with 245/40/20 . 2nd pic 22X11 American Racing Daytona and yes it fits inside the fender. I am tubbing the bed to the frame.
Few random pics after that. We are going to section the tubs about 6"s and cutting the floor clear to the edge of the frame....Be plenty of room that way for future upgrades down the road. And we are doing away with the spare cut out also. Its getting a 4.5" -6" drop and upgraded to power discs. Redrilled the axles and drums to 5 on 5 bp

Here are a couple of mine, for now. U2 wheels 55S-A, 22x9.5 with 265/35R22 on all 4 corners. No rubbing issues of any kind.

Did not have to shortened rear end. It's tight fit. About 1/4 inch clearance.
This is a '68. I believe 67-68 had narrower rear ends than 69-72.
By the way....very nice truck!!

You are correct in the Rear Differentials for a 67-68 were appx. 3/4" narrower...
