Great work Dino! You have inspired me!!
If you pancake the D/M one inch , do you raise the rest one inch too? How much is a mild Z? Couple inches at the highest end? Thanks for your time Martin Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: dinos just a clean bagged 66 shortbed
OK, now I regret asking for more pics... Nice shop! Wish I could have made the drive from Hawaii for the BBQ but.... da 67 aint a submarine - although I want to drive it into the Pacific at times...
Damn, I love the simplicity of that motor. You are the man! Aloha, Frank

Re: dinos just a clean bagged 66 shortbed
Your shop looks too awesome!
A question though with all your cool kid toys (the cars on the shelves) How do you keep the dust down? My rinky-dink PoS garage is dusty as he77 even when I am not down there grinding or sanding something. Then I see guys like you and Coulter, with garages that look all clean and spiffy all the time and my jealousy (and my OCD) kick into high gear.... Also, I was looking at those exact same exhaust manifolds for my build. How do you like them? How are you going to run you plug wires? Along the block then up to the distributor, or up between the exhaust and the oil covers then back to the dizzy? If you run them between the engine and the exhaust are you going to need heat shields? Sorry for all the questions, but I rarely post on your threads (though I read them all the time) there is already enough guys posting the same stuff I would .... Thanks!

Re: dinos just a clean bagged 66 shortbed
That's nice! I think you and Joe make a great team. What bags are you running in the front and rear on this one? What was done to the lower arms for the bags, I see the bump stop/steering stop is gone, but I can't tell if there is a plate or a cup of some kind in the arm?
Nice tool set up too!

Re: dinos just a clean bagged 66 shortbed
Awesome job on the PCV, now I am going to ditch both sets of later valve covers and look for some script ones!
How do you plan on routing the PCV hose? Steven
